Patrick was born in Arua in the north west of Uganda. He attended primary school at Tara Primary School in Arua from 1997 to 2003. Later he moved to Kampala for high school from 2004 to 2007 attending Blue Nile Secondary School. In 2008 he joined Wild Frontiers as a river guide based at Murchison Falls on the river Nile. He was promoted to Boat Captain and attained his internationally recognized Power Boat certification in 2012.
With some years experience on the river, including fishing safaris Patrick has broadened his experience further and was offered a position as a Trainee Safari Guide which included driving and being responsible for guests traveling by road in safari vehicles. Patrick completed certification in 4×4 driving driving (high/low range and defensive) in 2014. He has also completed a professional guiding certification from Uganda Safari Guides Association (USAGA).
Patrick is currently based mainly up country near the Bwindi area and hosts many of the clients flying into this area for gorilla trekking as well as visiting the plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Patrick is outgoing with a good sense of humor and when he’s not working hard taking care of guests he enjoys brushing up on his birding, reading books and watching movies.
Patrick will ensure you safari is professionally conducted, on time at all planned locations, all with a minimum of fuss.
His well set up vehicle (and trailer if needed) will carry you in comfort to all the places you wish to visit.
